Barreling on Beach Boulevard

On a trip up Beach in my electric,
My driving made a young man hectic.
He zoomed around and got ahead
But had to brakethe light was red.
My speed was timed by that same light.
In a clear lane I passed him on the right.
When his lane moved, he used more speed
To once again get in the lead.
At the next light, I passed his line.
(My steady pace had timed things fine.)
But I made him happy rang his chimes.
He passed me half a dozen times.
